Patient Question

Hello Doctor,

I have a physical disability in my leg, and I've been experiencing pain in it while I'm sleeping. The pain often disrupts my rest, and it's becoming more difficult to manage. Is there any solution or remedy available for this issue?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to Dr. Galen. Please find the below response to your query.

1. The question is quite general, and more details would help narrow down the cause.

2. However, night pain without a prior injury often points to inflammatory conditions or stress-related issues.

3. I would recommend trying to elevate the unaffected leg while resting, perhaps using a different shoe or a small silicone insole to provide support.

4. This could help relieve some of the strain on the affected leg, allowing it to relax for a few days.

5. However, I suggest scheduling an appointment with a healthcare provider to properly assess the underlying cause and explore more targeted treatments.

Thanks
