Hello Doctor,
Recently, on Wednesday night, I experienced a moment where I stretched my elbow. Following this, I noticed that my elbow began to ache, and I also felt weakness in my shoulder. Since then, there hasn't been any significant improvement, although fortunately, it hasn't worsened either. I'm wondering if you might have any insights into what could be causing these symptoms and if there are any recommended treatments you could suggest to alleviate them.
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to Dr. Galen. Please find the below response to your query.
I appreciate your detailed description of your symptoms. Based on what you've shared, it's possible that the discomfort you're experiencing in your elbow and shoulder could be related to either issues with the nerves in your neck or problems with the ligaments in your elbow.
In terms of managing your symptoms, I would advise you to avoid exposing yourself to cold weather as much as possible, as this can sometimes exacerbate discomfort in these areas. Additionally, I recommend monitoring your symptoms closely over the next week. If they persist or worsen during this time, it would be wise to seek medical assistance for further evaluation and treatment.
Thanks
