Hello Doctor,
I’ve been feeling unusually weak and have lost my appetite over the past few days. Along with that, I’ve been experiencing frequent headaches and my blood pressure has been higher than usual. I also have a history of anxiety disorder, and I’m wondering if all of these issues could be connected. Could this be related to my anxiety, or is there something else going on that I should be concerned about?
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to Dr. Galen. Please find the below response to your query.
It's certainly possible that your symptoms could be related to your anxiety disorder, as anxiety can sometimes cause physical symptoms such as weakness, headaches, and changes in appetite. However, high blood pressure is something that also needs to be carefully evaluated, as it may not always be directly linked to anxiety. To provide an accurate diagnosis and help you manage these symptoms, I would need a detailed medical history, including any recent changes in your routine, medications, or stress levels. It’s important to assess all aspects of your health to understand the root cause and determine the most appropriate treatment. I recommend scheduling a consultation for a thorough evaluation.
Thanks
