Patient Question

Hello Doctor,

I have pain in the upper part of my mouth, near my teeth. It feels sore and uncomfortable, especially when I eat or drink. What could be causing this?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to Dr. Galen. Please find the below response to your query.

For appropriate treatment, I recommend visiting a doctor for a thorough evaluation. A detailed history and physical examination will help determine the cause of your pain, whether it's due to an infection, gum disease, sinus issues, or another underlying condition. In the meantime, maintaining good oral hygiene and avoiding extremely hot or cold foods may help manage discomfort.

Thanks
