Patient Question

Hello Doctor,

I've been having a really bad headache since this morning, and I feel nauseous. On top of that, my legs are aching, and I’m not sure why. Should I be worried about this?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to Dr. Galen. Please find the below response to your query.

1. There are several possible reasons for your symptoms, including lack of sleep, physical exhaustion, dehydration, or even an underlying infection. Since you’re experiencing a bad headache, nausea, and leg pain, it’s important to stay well-hydrated and rest in a quiet, comfortable place. Try to get at least 8-10 hours of quality sleep and avoid any strenuous activities.

2. If your symptoms persist or worsen—especially if you develop a high fever, dizziness, or weakness—you should seek medical attention at the nearest healthcare facility for a proper evaluation. A doctor may need to assess you further to rule out conditions like viral infections, migraines, or other underlying causes. Take care and monitor your symptoms closely.

Thanks
