Hello Doctor,
I am 36 years old, and I have an issue when I try to sleep during the day. I feel as if I am not breathing properly, and it sometimes leads to headaches. At times, I also feel like my nose is blocked, and I have to use Celestamine to help with the symptoms. What could be the cause of this problem?
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to Dr. Galen. Please find the below response to your query.
1. It’s possible that you may have enlarged tonsils, which can sometimes cause difficulty breathing, especially when lying down, and contribute to headaches. I would recommend consulting an ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) specialist.
2. The doctor can examine your throat and check for any underlying issues, such as enlarged tonsils or other conditions that may be affecting your breathing and causing nasal congestion. They will be able to give you a more accurate diagnosis and suggest appropriate treatment options.
Thanks
