Patient Question

Hello Doctor,

At 35 years old, I am experiencing a thickly coated tongue, a choking sensation in the throat, fatigue, lethargy, an unclear voice, an inability of the heart to tolerate stress, dark circles around the eyes, back pain, and unclear stools with abdominal discomfort.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to Dr. Galen. Please find the below response to your query.

Based on your symptoms, it appears that you may be experiencing oral candidiasis, which is a fungal infection in the mouth. The recommended treatment is as follows: Take one tablet of fluconazole 150 mg per day for 14 days. Additionally, take one tablet of cetirizine 5 mg in the morning and one at night for 7 days. To support your overall health, take a multivitamin tablet once a day for 14 days. It is important to maintain good oral hygiene by brushing your teeth daily before going to bed.

Thanks
