To ease the cough, you should use a nebulized crystalloid inhaler, perform chest physiotherapy, avoid irritants such as strong perfumes and soaps. If the cough is accompanied by a fever, it is advisable to visit your doctor for a prescription of antibiotics and treatment of the underlying cause. Lastly, you can use cough syrup.
