Hello Doctor,
I’ve noticed mild lotion-like discharge without any itching or burning. However, I’ve observed white, rough patches around the outside of my vulva that look like an overgrowth, and it seems to have spread in one specific area. What should I do about this? Should I be concerned?
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to Dr. Galen. Please find the below response to your query.
It’s important to get examined by a healthcare professional first, as there can be various causes for the lesions, such as age-related changes, infections, or even the early stages of malignancy. Depending on the severity and suspected cause, a biopsy may be necessary for a definitive diagnosis. Treatment will be determined based on the final diagnosis and the underlying cause of the condition.
