Patient Question

Hello Doctor,

I snore at night, and my left nostril gets completely blocked. I recently had tests done, and they found a possible maxillary polyp, sinusitis, and a deviated nasal septum. What treatment should I follow?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to Dr. Galen. Please find the below response to your query.

Your symptoms suggest a mild nasal bone deviation and sinusitis. Here's the recommended treatment:

Roxid M 150 mg - 1 tablet in the morning and evening for 5 days.

Levosiz M - 1 tablet after dinner for 20 days.

Otrivin Nasal Drops - 3 drops in each nostril three times daily for 5 days.

Switch to Flomist Nasal Spray - 1 puff in each nostril twice daily for 3 months.

Preventive tips include staying hydrated, avoiding cold drinks, and practicing good hygiene. If symptoms persist, contact us for further guidance.

Thanks
