Patient Question

Hello Doctor,

I'm a 22-year-old male with ongoing high blood pressure (150-160). I had kidney-related tests, and my doctor said there are no issues with the kidney's blood tract. Why is my blood pressure still high?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to Dr. Galen. Please find the below response to your query.

Since you're young, we need to rule out secondary causes of hypertension, as primary hypertension is less common at your age. Regardless of the cause, it's important to start treatment to manage your blood pressure effectively.

Thanks
