Patient Question

Hello Doctor,

I recently experienced an unusual situation while sleeping, where I unknowingly pressed my legs together, causing my hand to press against one of my testicles. Upon waking up, I felt intense pain in that area, which gradually subsided after some time. Although the pain has since disappeared, I'm feeling concerned about whether this incident might have caused any serious damage. Would it be advisable for me to seek medical attention and get checked by a healthcare professional?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to Dr.Galen. Please find the below response to your query.

1. While it's reassuring that the pain has gone away, it's still a good idea to get checked by a healthcare professional, just to ensure everything is okay.

2. Testicular pain can sometimes indicate underlying issues that may need attention, so it's better to be safe and have a medical professional assess the situation.

3. Even if there's no pain now, there could have been temporary disruption to blood flow or other issues that warrant examination.

4. Don't hesitate to schedule an appointment with a doctor or urologist to get peace of mind and ensure your health and well-being.

Thanks
