Warning signs of severe dengue fever, such as dengue hemorrhagic fever or dengue shock syndrome, can develop rapidly and typically manifest within the first few days after the fever subsides.  These signs may include: Severe stomach pain, Persistent vomiting, Bleeding from gums or nose, Blood in urine, stools, or vomit, Bleeding under the skin, resembling bruising, Difficult or rapid breathing, Fatigue, Irritability or restlessness. 

It's essential to seek immediate medical attention if you experience any of these symptoms, as severe dengue fever can be life-threatening and requires prompt treatment.
