Hello Doctor,
It seems that my eye has a thin layer of film or mucus covering it. I can take a cotton swab and gently rub across my eyeball, and the film moves across and slides back into place. Why is this happening?
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to Dr. Galen. Please find the below response to your query.
If you have thick, purulent discharge along with this layer and sticky eyes in the morning, you should wash your eyes gently and use antibiotic eye drops such as Ofloxacin or Moxifloxacin three times a day in drop and ointment form.
Thanks
