Hello Doctor,

I've been experiencing very light tissue discharge, spotting, and slight abdominal pain. I took a home pregnancy test, and it came out positive. I also had a blood test that showed an HCG level of 134.64. I’m considering an abortion and would like to know what steps I should take. Can you guide me on what to do next?

1. Based on the symptoms you're describing, such as tissue passing, abdominal pain, and bleeding, it seems like you may be experiencing a miscarriage.

2. However, it’s important to note that a pregnancy test can still show positive for up to two weeks after a miscarriage due to the presence of HCG in your system.
