Patient Question

Hello Doctor,

I’m 17. I recently noticed my scrotum isn’t the size it should be, and I’ve always had two circular objects in my groin. Unlike other men, it hurts if someone hits me there (groin area), but it doesn’t hurt much if they hit me in the scrotum. I suspect undescended testicles.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to Dr. Galen. Please find the below response to your query.

You may have undescended testicles (cryptorchidism), a condition where the testicles fail to move into the scrotum. It’s crucial to seek medical advice promptly, as undescended testicles can lead to fertility issues and other complications, such as cancer. Book an appointment for an evaluation and potential treatment to prevent future problems.

Thanks
