Patient Question

Hello Doctor,

I have a question about a recent experience. I gave my boyfriend oral sex, and we kissed afterward. Later, he performed oral sex on me. I'm unsure if he had any pre-cum, but he didn't ejaculate. I’m concerned about the possibility of pregnancy. Is there any risk of me becoming pregnant from this situation?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to Dr. Galen. Please find the below response to your query.

1. To determine if you might be pregnant, it's best to wait for your period. If it doesn't come within 5-7 days of when you expect it, I recommend taking a pregnancy test. If you're still uncertain, you can get a scan 7-10 days after a missed period for further confirmation.

2. Pregnancy can happen easily in certain situations, so it's important to consider contraception methods to prevent unintended pregnancies. If your period is delayed or you'd like advice on contraception, it's always a good idea to seek the help of a specialist.

Thanks
