Patient Question

Hello Doctor,

I had a circumcision done a few days ago, but I’m a little unsure if everything looks normal. I don’t have any pain, swelling, or other symptoms right now. I just want to make sure the healing process is going well. Could you please take a look at the image I’m sending and let me know if it appears to be healing correctly? I’d appreciate your quick feedback.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out Dr. Galen, Please find the below response to your query.

Based on your description and the image, your circumcision site appears to be healing well with no signs of infection or complications. It’s normal to have some redness and swelling initially, but absence of pain and other symptoms is a good sign. Continue to keep the area clean and dry, avoid strenuous activity, and follow post-op care instructions. If you experience increased pain, swelling, redness, discharge, or fever, please contact your healthcare provider promptly.

Thanks
