Hello Doctor,
I've been on oral antibiotics for a middle ear infection for about five days now, and thankfully, the pain is starting to subside. However, I've noticed that one of my ears has started to bleed. Should I be concerned about this? Could it be a side effect of the infection or the antibiotics? Should I contact my healthcare provider?

Bleeding from the ear could be due to a variety of reasons, including:
1. Trauma or injury to the ear canal.
2. Ruptured eardrum, which can occur due to infection or other factors.
