Patient Question
I have a lymph node under my armpit, what should I do?
Answered by Dr. Aditya Favade
A swollen lymph node in the armpit may be a sign of a bacterial or viral infection. No need to worry. If the lump persists for more than a few weeks, grows in size, becomes painful, or is accompanied by other symptoms such as fever or redness of the skin, it's important to consult a doctor for further evaluation and to determine the underlying cause of the lump and recommend appropriate treatment.
