Hello Doctor,
I have been feeling nauseous for two days after eating a lot, and now it’s on and off with stomach bloating and occasional chills. I have a feeling I need to burp, but when I try, nothing can go through.

This may have been caused by eating large portions too quickly. You should try mindful (slow) eating with moderate portions and cut down on salty foods and carbohydrates in your diet, especially if you are consuming them in excess. You can alleviate the symptoms by:
- Resting upright when experiencing symptoms.
- Avoiding trigger foods.
- Staying hydrated—clear fluids with natural sugars work best, like sports drinks or Pedialyte.
- Using over-the-counter medicine, such as antacids with simethicone.
