How to Treat Plantar Fasciitis?

Medical Treatment:
Do the following things to relieve plantar fasciitis by yourself:
  • Use soft insoles or heel pads shoes
  • Wear-large comfortable, low-heel and soft sole shoes
  • Do not try to walk on hard surfaces barefoot
  • Do not walk or stand for a long time
  • Rest and raise your foot on a stool when you can
  • Do not wear tight shoes or high heels
  • Do not wear backless slippers or flip-flops
  • Do not take ibuprofen for the first 48 hours
  • Take painkillers like paracetamol
  • Place a bag of frozen peas in a painful area for up to 20 minutes every 2 to 3 hours
  • Regular gentle stretching exercises (do not put pressure on your feet, such as swimming)
To see a GP when the pain is severe or stopping you doing normal activities and getting worse or keeps coming back
