How to Treat Conjunctivitis Allergic?
Medical Treatment:Short-term use
Treatment is supposed to be 5- 7 days.
- Oxymetazolin 0.025 percent, ophthalmic drops, instill 1- 2 drops 6 hours a day. Only short- term use.
To control allergic reactions in chronic cases:
- Sodium cromoglycate 2 percent ophthalmic drops, 1-2 drops 6 hours per day.
When to refer:
- Cetirizine 10 mg daily, orally.
