Hello Doctor,
I had two moles removed from my back on April 29, 2024, and they are still red and slightly puffy. It's been about four months since the procedure. Is this normal, or should I be concerned about their appearance?

Based on your description, it’s possible that you're dealing with a hypertrophic scar or a keloid, which can sometimes form after mole removal. This isn’t typical, but it can happen. I recommend seeing a doctor for a proper assessment. They may prescribe an anti-scar cream or other treatments to help reduce the redness and puffiness.
