Things to note: - Check your heart function and treat dysrhythmia.
- Monitor and correct fluid and other anomalies of the electrolyte.
- Monitor concentrations of theophylline. Up to 24 hours after ingestion of modified release preparations, levels can continue to increase.
Medical Treatment:Even if the patient is present after 2 hours, give a dose of activated charcoal.
- Potassium chloride, IV, no more than 40 mmol / L and no more than 20 mmol / h.
For convulsions:
In serious cases, i.e. Refer to dialysis levels > 80mcg / mL.
