As a surgeon with over a decade of experience in laparoscopic colorectal and emergency surgery, I am passionate about providing the best possible care for my patients. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to pioneering minimally invasive techniques in Malta, focusing on colorectal resections, emergency laparoscopic surgeries for the colon and gallbladder, and abdominal wall hernia repairs. I find great fulfillment in being at the forefront of surgical innovation, which not only improves patient outcomes but also enhances recovery times.

Education and mentorship are also close to my heart. I enjoy teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students, and I currently serve as the Post-Graduate Training Coordinator. I was proud to establish the international postgraduate surgical program in Malta, which allows us to share knowledge and best practices. My research primarily revolves around benign and malignant colorectal diseases, and I am fortunate to have had my work published internationally and presented at various conferences. I am honored to hold positions in several esteemed medical organizations, where I strive to contribute to the ongoing development of surgical education and practice, both locally and abroad.
