Dr. Santosh Kumar Bashyal - Dhiffushi, Maldives

I am one of the highly qualified and an expert in Orthopedic Surgeon, specializing in Spine, Trauma, and Regenerative Joint Bone, with over 16 years of invaluable experience. My residence is in  Dhiffushi, Kaaf, Maldives. I have served as the Head of the Department in Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery at Kathmandu University’s Devdaha Medical School Research Institute in Nepal. I have also worked as a consultant orthopedic specialist at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital in the Maldives.

I am honored to have received the Bidhya Bhushan KA 2019 award, the highest academic award in Nepal, for being the first PhD spine surgeon in the country. I am a lifelong member of NOA and ASSN and have contributed significantly to various scientific journals. I also serve on the editorial board for multiple orthopedic and healthcare journals and am the chairman of the Shovachabi Memorial Research Academy.
