My extensive medical career began with earning my MD in 2000 from the Universidad de Ciencias Médicas in Cuba. I first specialized as a Family Medicine Fellow (2000-2005) and later advanced to Neurology, completing a residency (2005-2009) and practicing as a Neurology Specialist in Cuba (2009-2014). Throughout my journey, I have worked in diverse settings, including private practice in Germany and as a Fellow in Neurology and Geriatrics at Schaumburg Klinikum from 2016 to 2018. These roles allowed me to specialize in neurology, geriatrics, general practice, and rehabilitation.

I have participated in numerous international neurology conferences and advanced courses, including the Escuela Latinoamericana de Epilepsia in Brazil and the Baltic Epilepsy Course at Rostock University in Germany. Additionally, I hold a Zertifikat C1 in the German language and continuously strive to enhance my expertise in neurodegenerative diseases and epilepsy management.
