I also played an instrumental role in setting up the burn unit and the plastic surgery unit at the hospital, where I continued to guide the treatment of complex cases.
Beyond my clinical practice, I have dedicated a significant portion of my career to education and mentorship. As a DNB teacher, I have helped shape the next generation of plastic surgeons, imparting knowledge from my extensive experience and ensuring that future practitioners uphold the highest standards of care. My involvement in professional societies such as APSI, ASI, and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons further highlights my commitment to continuing education and staying at the forefront of the latest advancements in the field.
In addition to my work in India, I have also had the privilege of volunteering with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), where I have participated in multiple missions across the Middle East, including Jordan, Iraq, and Gaza. These experiences have deeply enriched my understanding of healthcare delivery in resource-limited environments, and I remain dedicated to providing medical assistance to underserved populations globally.
