I can fluently communicate with you in English. I will be happy to assist you via video and audio online medical consultation.
I completed my undergraduate education at the University of Toronto, where I earned an Honors Bachelor of Science degree with a focus in neuroscience, political science, and psychology, graduating with Dean's List distinction. I then attended Midwestern University for my medical education, where I received my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. Following that, I completed my internal medicine residency at the University of Washington and later specialized in rheumatology through a fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh.
As a double board-certified rheumatologist, I am passionate about preventative healthcare and helping my patients achieve long-term health optimization. My academic interests currently focus on inflammatory myopathies and novel therapeutic targets in spondyloarthropathy research. Additionally, I have a deep interest in chronic arthritic pain and its potential link to substance abuse disorders, which has led me to explore addiction medicine and harm reduction strategies in combating the opioid epidemic.
I have been practicing as a rheumatologist at St. Luke's in Duluth since 2019 and have developed expertise in patient care, clinical quality improvement, and more. I am also actively involved in educational and research initiatives related to rheumatology and systemic diseases. My commitment to healthcare extends beyond clinical practice, as I also volunteer with Camp STIX, where I provide medical support to children and teens with diabetes.
It would be my pleasure to assist you with your healthcare needs, utilizing my expertise to guide you toward better health and well-being.
