My 6 year old needed appendix surgery at 6 pm on the Saturday before Christmas and everyone in the Pediatrics department was amazing. From getting us in and taken care of quickly to making her feel as comfortable as possible, it was all great. Being at the hospital on Christmas is no fun but they made it so much easier! The nurses Kari and Tara specifically were my daughters favorites

Dedicated people, caring on the difficult time. It hard to say that a Hospital is good when a loved one is sick there, but they did their best to minimize the pain. Dr Camp, Nurses Sara and Ryder, we appreciate all your efforts to the well being of my wife. Thank you!

My experience with Utah Valley Hospital was scary because my husband was brought in by ambulance and directly went into heart surgery, on New Years Day. My son and I arrived after he had been taken to surgery. We were told to go to 2nd floor and wait. We waited and waited and waited. No one ever checked on us or updated us. The desk was unattended but a phone with instructions to get an update. There was no update we were told someone will come when the surgery is complete. Finally after 3 hours I started asking anyone for information. No help at the hospital. My sister called a friend who works with IHC. We found his room number in ICU. He had been there for an hour. I was so relieved but angry that the staff had ignored us we were totally left us thinking the most horrible outcomes. The stars are for the amazing nurses that took care of my husband during his stay. I hope the hospital administrators look at this review and understand the responsibility they have to a patients family is so much more than what I expected. To have zero communication with a wife waiting on a husbands emergency surgery is unacceptable. 3 hours is a long time to wait. With no word.

My son came in for a surgery today, and I felt like I had to share our experience. The staff, and nurses were all so kind. Any surgery would give someone anxiety and that was all put at ease. I feel so greatful we had such positive experience today. I guess this is more of a Thank You!!!

Came for an ER visit that turned into an impatient stay. The ER is run like a finely tuned clock. The doctors and nurses were quick to assess and attentive. My stay on the 6th floor was as pleasant as it could have been. All procedures were throughly explained (and reexplained as I’m slow sometimes). The MRI team was great as well. They do have fast internet for patients and basic cable TV. The food was actually really decent. You order off of a menu and the food is generally brought in 30-40 minutes. The doctors and specialists were incredibly kind and patient. The nurses were amazing as well. I can’t say I’d want to go here again, but if I had to pick a hospital in the area, this would be my first choice!

My daughter had an asthma attack & we went to the Riverton ER & it appears as they were not trained to deal with kids since they were so cold and acted like it was nothing. She had to be placed in intensive care so we were transferred to Utah Valley Hospital. It was the best decision they made that night. As soon as we got there, they explained everything so well to us, offered us food, and had everything ready for us to sleep. They were very welcoming & felt my daughter was finally in good hands. They kept checking in on us & answered all our questions. Recently my daughter had a hard time breathing again and living 30 minutes from this hospital & this not being an emergency, I drove it! Just bc the first time we had a good experience and yet again we were treated extremely well, explained everything to us, got her toys , books, the front desk security got her a stuffed animal to make her feel good, distractions from needles and they were so warming to my daughter that she kept grabbing the doctors hand when he would come in. Definitely worth the drive when it’s not an emergency. Thank you for being well trained with kids!

Entire team recieved my mother with a pulse rate of 30 with utmost care and swiftness. She was taken in, vital signs, tests, xrays taken within very short time. The team was professional, prompt and supportive. The ER doctor was excellent. The Cardiologist was excellent. On call team was quick to respond and a pacemaker procedure preformed resulting in a normal pusle rate. She was admitted for overnight. The nursing team was excellent. Thankful my mom is home and recovering .

I was here for four days and the food is DELICIOUS! Best hospital food I have ever had… rooms are huge and private with great views. Not that I recommend you visit a hospital unless you have to but make sure to try there food!
