One of the best hospitals, or the best in Belgium, I can say that because they helped us a lot with our daughter's illness and still do. A super modern system, very fast and clear. Very satisfied after I was admitted via emergency on Friday evening at 6:30 PM for acute appendicitis. Very quickly helped in the emergency room with very friendly staff and very good explanations. Afterwards I went to department C5 and operated in the morning at the time they told me. The staff here was also great. Also very friendly and well treated! I was allowed to go home on Sunday morning after visiting the doctor. The decision for me was that my experience at UZA was as it should be, personal approach and clear feedback about everything. Best University Hospital in Antwerp Edegem. Many specialisations in handling and treatment sickness. Good public transport from city center to the hospital. I read a lot of bad reviews here but for myself I was very good informed by the anesthesia doktor and the doktor who did the operation to check if my heart was ok, and the nurses were very nice on the cardio department. A good restaurant with outside terrace, mini super market and pharmacy available. Big parking place outside.
