I've had my prenatal care and I've given birth to the youngest three, of my four children at Thomas Hospital. My children and I have no complaints. Dr. Patel Ob/Gyn, he was wonderful all throughout my several years of my normal appointments, as well as, my prenatal care and delivery!! Highly recommended!! The hospital was always nice, clean, and the wait in the emergency room was never too long in any of my experiences! Lab work was also done in a timely manner. There's also a nice little gift shop, with fresh flowers, and gifts... Great for guests to surprise and comfort patients with! There's easy and handicap access to the main entrance, the back entrance, and to the emergency room! With the ability to pull right up to the doors. Parking is available in many different areas, all close to the building. Some are free and others may require payment, depending on day and time.

The nurses here are extremely kind, caring, helpful, and knowledgeable. I was well cared for in the ER. After being admitted I was taken to an extremely clean room. The on call surgeon and surgery staff were professional, caring, and knowledgeable. The nurses on the 5th floor took amazing care of me before and after my procedure. I would give 6 stars for quality of care if I could.

Husband had surgery knee surgery there 04/14/23. Place was clean, everyone extremely friendly and helpful. Check-in took minutes and was called back to surgery prep room within 10 minutes. Dewayne RN his 1st nurse was great and very knowledgeable and friendly. His 2nd nurse ( didn't get his name) but we loved him when he came in to check on my husband before surgery while I was in the room and asked what leg he was having surgery on I asked if he was the doctor he made a joke that referred to an old at&t commercial was absolutely hilarious a great was to relax my husband wish more where like him. After surgery his surgeon called right away and gave and update. His final nurse she was outstanding as well. I read some reviews that gave this place 1 star and a nervous for my husband after actually having his surgery I can't understand how anyone can give less than 5 stars. There entire staff was top notch highly recommend this hospital and that people ignore the negative reviews they are posted most likely from miserable people, as the old saying goes misery loves company. Thank you all for the love and care you gave my husband ❤️

I had been in and out of another hospital locally who sent me home to die. There are no words to describe the agony that accompanies liver failure. So i went to Thomas Memorial ER. They admitted me and set me up with a healthcare team of different specialists. Upon releasing me a week or so later they sent me home with a hospital bed, a wheelchair, a schedule of appointments with all of my specialists and a nurse to check on me a few times a week. They saved my life. They gave me hope for a longer future, instead of three weeks of life left to me by the other hospital of which i wont name. My thanks, prayers and accolades to Thomas and WVU.

I absolutely give Thomas memorial 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! Soon as I came out from my endoscopy, soon as I came to, there was a RN right there ready to help with every need. Bright me something to drink Immediately! I was nauseous tho, so she quickly brought a container for me with a dose of iv zofran. She offered crackers also to help try to sooth my stomach as well.. very patient with me and I could feel empathy from her.. they all made sure I was in good shape before leaving 👍 I love the network Thomas memorial has. All the doctors are nsync with my medical needs, working as a team and work with me with the scheduling where I live over an hour away, very understanding if I’m a few mins late I’ll be having surgery in the next few weeks but I don’t feel to worried. I believe I am in good hands with Thomas!! Thank you 🙏 💕
Yesterday I was transported to Thomas because of my covid symptoms. I had major trouble breathing and swallowing. Even though they were extremely crowded, all personnel were very helpful and friendly. I had excellent care and treatment. It’s hard to stay calm and positive when dealing with crowds but all employees accomplished this. I’m lucky I’ve been vaccinated and I was able to be treated and sent home. It might not have been so if I was unvaccinated. Today I am so much better! Thank you, Thomas!!
