I have been in many times with skating injuries. The staff are always so friendly and caring, it is honestly the best hospital I have ever been to including private. They always ensure the best result and care for ongoing injuries. Thank you to all the team for all of your help over the years!

The other 2 times. Need to contact to why I was there 1 for longer than I wanted. I didn't want to. And 11 hours no memory at home. A bit to long and why I was in a certain area so I am not happy with that bit. Sorry Alfred I say nothing till I get my head around it all. Hopefully you were given True information as I wasn't.

Fantastic care. The nurses and doctors I saw were friendly, kind, professional and efficient, especially on a busy night. I felt very looked after.

Having arrived at the Alfred ED following an anaphylactic shock, I was assessed by the triage nurse at the front desk and immediately taken to a treatment room where a skilled medical team headed by Dr Michael K went to work administering urgently needed medical treatment. Their medical skill, professionalism, bedside manner and ongoing reassurance was comforting and very reassuring. I am very grateful for their efforts which resulted in a positive outcome. Dr Michael and his team at the ED are to be commended. They are exceptional and deserve 5+ stars.

Our family will never forget the incredible attention and care my sister Fiona has received at this amazing hospital. From the social workers calling us in Sydney to keep us updated on her progress to the nurses not only caring for her but holding the phone so we can speak with her at all times of the day and night. Her progress has been nothing short of a miracle and we will be forever grateful. Although she has a long way to go in her recovery we feel better knowing she is in one of the best hospitals in Australia. Thank you x
I woke up on Monday morning with the left side of my face paralyzed and thought I was having a stroke. I checked into the Alfred ED at 9:30am and was taken immediately to a clean bed and within minutes I was being assessed by nurses and a physician who were absolutely amazing. They stabilized my blood pressure and within the hour had taken scans of my neck and brain and blood samples. The physician stayed with me and gently explained my condition and gave me advice on how to manage it. By 2:30pm I was discharged with prescription medication and detailed paperwork for my GP. I would like to extend my absolute gratitude towards the entire staff at the Alfred who took amazing care of me and were able to provide me with an accurate diagnosis.
