The Viseu de Sus City Hospital is a sanitary facility with beds, public utility, with legal personality, public property, which provides hospital medical services. Established in 1947, the pavilions and in 1984 the new block, coordinated by the Ministry of Public Health, under the authority of the Maramures Public Health Authority, in a contract for the provision of medical services with the Maramures Health Insurance Company. The headquarters of the unit is in the town of Viseu de Sus, str 22 Decembrie, no. 1. The unit also has an external section in Poienile de sub Munte. Viseu de Sus Municipal Hospital is a pavilion-type hospital unit that covers an area of 4.7 ha. having a constructed area of: 6,600 sq m; - Pavilions 820 sqm; - "Pediatrics" building 2,300 sqm; - Annexes. Most of the buildings were built at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, constituting a military unit that functioned until 1946-1947 when re-compartmentalization, renovations and transformations began, forming the core of the future hospital, adding new buildings to improve hospital activity. At the end of the 1960s, the following facilities were made: - liquid fuel heating plant - heating networks (approx. 3000 billion) - introduction of central heating in existing buildings - water supply and sewerage of the entire premises. The pavilions (P) have concrete foundations, masonry (brick) walls, wooden planks, round wooden beams on the seats, tile and asbestos cement coverings, cold floors. At the beginning of the 1980s, the "Pediatrics" building (D + P + 4) was built with an area of 3,819 square meters. The hospital has its own sewage treatment plant, generator set and its own water source, which require R.K.

It's cleaning! And that's nice. It is much cleaner than other famous hospitals in Cluj. The pediatric staff is very kind, especially some top 10 nurses. Well done! It is also possible in Romanian.

The new hospital looks exceptional both inside and outside, a lot has been invested, new equipment has been purchased and the results have started to appear. Congratulations to the entire team that contributed to the development of the hospital, where patients can benefit from quality services as in large university centers.
I arrived at this hospital with my 4-year-old boy with small fears, having had unpleasant experiences locally, being on vacation in the dream above, we went to the guard room and were very nicely received, starting from the boy who was a guard to the nurses and this doctor being on the date of 29.10.2023. The next morning I went again to continue the infusion and being another equally nice staff, we were received by all the personnel who worked in the on-call room. Thank you and there are 5 stars too few.
