They provide round-the-clock ALS service with eight units located in five Arkansas counties, spread across six stations. In three Arkansas counties, they provide both ALS and BLS services through four ALS and one BLS unit stationed at four locations. AMED, serving as their Communications Partner in Stuttgart, Arkansas, oversees requests for both emergency and non-emergency medical transportation throughout their service regions.
In addition to their 911 operations, they provide pre-arranged patient transportation, not limited to Arkansas but extending to other states as well. They serve an array of healthcare facilities, including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and LTACs. Their comprehensive ambulance services are delivered through Southern Paramedic, Southern Care, and Arkansas Emergency Medical Dispatch.
