The ER staff went above and beyond...moving quickly to treat me for a TIA! The RRT was excellent. Jaime, ED RN, was competent, knowledgeable and really cared about her patients. Even as a busy Saturday night began she did not put me on the back burner! Thank you Jaimie. Dr. Woodbridge, ED doc and Dr. Franklyn, hospitality, both explained my options and what would happen next. No pressure, no making me feel bed with either choice. Thank you! I was a patient on 3South. Mikail and Lauren were amazing. Came to check on me throughout the night. They were not intrusive, rather caring. Eric from RT was gentle,.caring and non pushy with my CPAP that I needed. If I could teach all medical professionals to be half as goodas these employees..I believe our hospitals would be better places. Thank you St. Al's and your amazing staff

I had my third heart related surgery at Saint Alphonsus on June 12th, and was there through June 18th. I can't express in words of how the entire staff took care of me and treated me like gold. From my surgery prep, and all the days of recovery afterwards, I had hospital staff around the clock checking on me. All of them were very friendly and polite, and treated me with kindness and respect. The personnel in ICU were awesome, and it was a pleasure to speak with them and thank them for their dedication to their jobs. Several of them were pulling double shifts because of being short handed, but other than being a little tired, they didn't complain. Their supervisors should be very proud of them all for their professionalism and their representation of Saint Alphonsus Hospital. I applaud the entire staff in CCU and ICU and thank you for your kindness and assistance in my recovery. Respectfully, Jim Warren

Wanted to take the time and share how much I appreciated the staff at St Al’s Boise while they were caring for my Dad. I am finding that our elderly are so undervalued in general but not here! Thank you to Dr Peterson for seeing my Dad everyday and listening to him. Dr Donaldson and his wonderful PA you both are amazing and deserve all the praises. To our nurses all I can say is WOW! Sam, Claudia, Abigail, Braxton, Alma, Becky (telemetry) and Samantha (3rd floor). You are all amazing and are very valued! Special shout out to the best CNA’s as well! Layla and Rachel you two give the sweetest care ever. Thank you again to everyone that took the time to care for my Dad LeRoy.

Beth, my husband's nurse, brought me a meal. As much as I appreciate her kindness and compassion, I feel undeserving of such gestures.

Had a ton of issues with aetrial flutter and fib. Went through two oblations and a mini maze surgery and the heart group at St Al's were awesome. Last surgery was in December and no issues since then. Huge thank you to Dr Mark Parent and Kim Telfer, Dr Margot Vloka and Anna Hoskins and Dr Ben Taylor who did the last mini maze surgery that sealed the deal. This team was awesome and after spending 7 days in the hospital in Phoenix I can tell you this group is way way better than the care I previously had. I wish there were 10 stars I could give them!!!!

My Uncle just spent 12 days in the Cardiac ICU at this hospital. He went in after having an aortic aneurysm, and they took really good care of him. They did all they could but unfortunately he passed away. On behalf of my whole family we want to thank his care team. His Nurses were amazing, Trevor I just adore. Thank you all for comforting us and taking the time to talk to us. Thank you for talking to him and being so gentle. Thank you to his doctors and the people that did his dialysis. What you did for him and our family means the world to us. Thank you to the Chaplain who came after to comfort us and give us direction. We really appreciate you all. I hope to never go through this again, but if it ever comes to it I'll definitely come to this hospital.

My husband had knee replacement surgery. He spent 4 days in Saint Alphonsus Hospital in Boise. I can't comment enough thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and Aides, the food was delicious and delivery people awesome. The kindness and thoughtfulness of everyone that took care of my husband was excellent.
