Overview
The Ramakrishna Math, located in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, India, serves as a monastic institution focused on spiritual development through practices such as worship, prayer, meditation, and study. The institution aims to train monks to become competent teachers of religion while fostering community service. The Ramakrishna Mission, composed of both monastic and lay members, engages in philanthropic activities that encompass educational, cultural, and social services. The associated hospital provides essential healthcare to residents of Arunachal Pradesh and neighboring Assam, adhering to the principle of "SERVICE TO MAN IS SERVICE TO GOD," as taught by Swami Vivekananda.
Founded in 1977, the Ramakrishna Mission Hospital has made significant strides in enhancing healthcare in the region. Beyond medical services, the facility operates a School of Nursing, which trains both tribal and non-tribal girls in General Nursing and Midwifery. Affiliated with the Arunachal Pradesh Nursing Council, this program aims to empower local communities through quality healthcare education. As a branch of the Ramakrishna Mission, headquartered in Belur, West Bengal, the hospital exemplifies a dedicated approach to addressing the health needs of the local population while promoting overall well-being in the region.

pusparaj sharmaRamakrishna Mission Hospital is a charitable hospital which offers quality medical treatment. Being a charitable organisation, the charges for health checkup and medical tests are descent and the hospital offers almost all sort of medical tests and check ups. Also heard that this hospital takes almost 50% of medical load of the entire Itanagar. Kudos to health workers who work relentlessly offering quality services.

SivapriyaThe best hospital I have seen so far, with good hospitality and excellent care by those doctors and nurses. The administration is very good. They cleaned my room everyday and provided food on time. Especially their punctuality is on time. Providing medicines and doing dressing with care and affection. The place is surrounded by trees and flowers which creates calmness in you. And the hospital is well maintained by them. For emergency situation their service is the best. Being healthy is conscious for everyone but taken care by someone is too important. This hospital took an excellent care on me. And I discharged as a healthy person like others. Thanks to the hospital and my friend and her family who is there for me in the hardest time. Stay healthy :)

Jigme KyaliI have been in medical line for almost 9 years, and have met many of doctors and sisters in hospital. Being myself as a sister(nurse), this is my first experience as a attendant. I am sorry to say, sisters were rude. But I don’t blame everyone. Few were helpful too. Doctor Chape “surgeon” was too kind n down to earth personality. He was always available to clear my doubt regarding patients health. Huge respect for him. Sir, you will be always in my prayers🙏
