PMH offers a comprehensive array of medical services, ranging from case management to skilled nursing, all delivered with a steadfast commitment to evidence-based practices. Recent milestones, such as the establishment of the Joe and Peg Greenlee Rural Health Clinic, underscore PMH's unwavering dedication to improving healthcare accessibility. The hospital has knowledgeable and friendly staff who seem to genuinely care about what's going on with you. The ER is quick, even when they're backed up. You don't sit for hours waiting on treatment or waiting to be discharged like a lot of emergency rooms. It is a small hospital with the capability of doing life saving procedures in the ER to stabilize the patient and get them flown out to a larger, more equipped hospital. The doctors are great. They have a rural health clinic for your healthcare needs to have a primary care physician. They offer a charity program to help you out if you are unable to pay your bill. It's an excellent hospital located in rural Pocahontas County.

What an amazing facility! So kind, helpful, informative and careful! I had an injury on the slopes and they took me in immediately. No wait whatsoever, I got straight on the bed, was made comfortable and helped urgently. Turns out I fractured my radius. They wrapped me in a cast, wrote me a prescription and sent me on my way in no more than an hour! I remember the names Dr. Ray, Kelby and Harley Beale. I wish I could copy and paste this facility all over the country.

Buddy had a mountain biking crash. This is probably the friendliest place I’ve ever been (not just a hospital). 10/10 would recommend if you ever are in need of help.

My daughter injured her knee at snowshoe and we had to visit this ER. We were immediately greeted by the doctor and X-ray was right behind him. The doctor spent an ample amount of time in the room and you could tell he really cared. All the staff were so friendly and attentive. I wish there were more hospitals like this around. 5 GOLD STARS! Keep doing what you’re doing!

Hospital is very nice. Nurses, emt's and doctors are outstanding. Nice to know that in our small town of Marlinton we have such a remarkable hospital. I went yesterday at noon thanks to everyone that was there. One bad experience at PMH the poor Excuse for A Doctor the Mr Hammad was. He acted like i was a bother to him didnt even wait till the nurses were done asking my symptoms before he barged in and told me to go back the my regular doctor which isnt a doctor she is a NP. Thatvis why i went to the ER in the first place. But apparently today they didnt have a doctor today either. Get rid of him don't let one bad doctor ruin the up hill climb PMH has going to the state of excellence. Thank you to my nurses today for trying to help and being kind.

Super knowledgeable, professional and compassionate staff. We visited the ER for my daughter and the care they provided was world class. They even called us next day just to make sure. We feel super lucky to have such an awesome facility/staff nearby.

We have never had the kind of care we received at this institution. I applaud everyone working at the emergency room and thank them for the care. We visited this place because this was the closest ER near snowshoe. They instantly took us in and provided excellent care to one of my friend having dislocated shoulder.

My girlfriend broke her wrist at snowshoe and ski patrol called ahead and the staff at PMH were practically waiting at the door for us and immediately brought her in for evaluation. All of the staff was great, incredibly professional and friendly. In particular, the RN, Jason, went above and beyond in caring for us from always asking us if we needed anything to explaining everything, to literally helping her get her shoes back on when we were leaving. I would highly recommend PMH.

Had to make an emergency visit during a recent ski weekend, and I can't say enough good things about the entire visit The ER was full, they were super busy, and everyone was still so friendly, professional, very engaged, and except for the fact we had to be there, a very wonderful experience. Excellent on every level. Thank you.
