My wife and I had the privilege of being under the care of Dr. Pradip Dashraath during our pregnancy journey at the National University Hospital. We cannot speak highly enough of his exceptional care and expertise. From our very first consultation, Dr. Dashraath impressed us with his professionalism and genuine empathy towards pregnant women. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure the well-being of both mother and baby. His ability to provide thorough explanations, address concerns, and guide us through each stage of the pregnancy was truly remarkable. What sets Dr. Dashraath apart is his dedication to motivating and empowering pregnant women to follow proper health practices until delivery. His genuine interest in their well-being extends beyond medical advice, as he takes the time to discuss emotional and mental health, providing guidance and support for a holistic approach to pregnancy care. Dr. Dashraath's expertise in Maternal Fetal Medicine is evident in his personalized recommendations tailored to our specific needs. He possesses a comprehensive understanding of complex medical information and explains it in a clear and accessible manner, allowing us to make informed decisions with confidence. Furthermore, Dr. Dashraath's accessibility and prompt communication made us feel valued and supported throughout our pregnancy journey. He goes above and beyond to ensure the well-being of his patients, both within and outside the clinic. We are immensely grateful for the exceptional care provided by Dr. Pradip Dashraath. His professionalism, expertise, and compassionate approach have made a significant positive impact on our pregnancy experience. We highly recommend him to expectant mothers seeking outstanding care. I was at NUH recently and was pleasantly surprised to see non uniformed staff helping patients with the NUHS app. Through conversation, I realised that they were volunteers from corporate organisations. Kudos to these volunteers for volunteering. Iā€™m sure that their corporate work would have floored them, yet they were all smiles when assisting the patients (some who showed total ignorance in app navigation). Keep up the good spirit and thank you for the amazing service.

I went to Singapore all the way from Bangladesh to see Dr Rajeev Parameswaran, Asst Prof in surgery, on endocrinology for my High BP related to Primary hyperaldosteronism. As I visited Dr Rajeev, I was moved by his depth of knowledge and intimate hearing without hurrying through. He replied all my queries with lot of patience. His willingness to arrange diagnosis of my disease through an under trial equipment (under Dr Eng) without invasive (alternative to AVS) means was remarkable. Although he could not make it happen but I must remember his genuine effort in the days to come. When there was nothing forthcoming to diagnose my actual origin of the problem through AVS test due to longer schedule, I decided to return home without any visible benefits. Next day before my departure, he asked me to see him in the canteen, just to advise on couple of imp issues about the treatment! That was simply exceptional and I had no words but to feel indebted with my heartfelt gratitude. I shall carry forward the support of Dr Rajeev and conducive work culture of NUH. I however wonder if NUH in future arrange VDO conf on payment before a foreign patient actually embark on a med trip to Singapore. Thank you NUH and Singapore.

Came for appointment on 30/8/2023. Was waiting at lobby for appointment time. A staff came and play the piano. Beautiful melodies help with the tense atmosphere of a hospital. I feel happy when listening!

Had a family member admitted via the A&E, while waiting time for a bed was unfortunately long, the diagnosis and treatment was handled while awaiting. The nurses, support staff and allied health professionals were amazing in taking care of patients and answering the most mundane of questions and concerns of family members. The work they do are as critical if not even more in the journey of recovery, the tough, unspoken things to keep patients comfortable and monitoring their condition and being the first to respond before doctors arrive. The NUH Health System (NUHS) app was pretty good, one will need to have access to the patient's details and designate you as the caregiver to enable you access to medication history, test results and appointment. Useful. Doctors did their best in providing timely information though suspect they were swamped and had to deal w a lot besides my family member's case naturally, and beside a family conference and one of them seeing my dad on a daily basis, communications were largely via phone. I also did wish there was a way to communicate and ask questions to the doctor's post discharge as there was a blood pressure concern. All in all Dr. Sng, Dr Clare Tan and the liver team was pretty great and supportive.
