I had a wonderful experience at Mt. Alvernia, St. Anne Mother and Child Centre, St. Raphael Ward, when my family and I welcomed our 2nd child. The staff was incredibly caring & attentive, making us feel comfortable & well-supported throughout our stay. The team demonstrated a high level of expertise, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. We couldn't have asked for a better place to bring our child into the world. Thank you to the entire team for their exceptional care & support during this special time in our lives.

My husband and I had a pleasant 4D3N at St Anne’s maternity ward. From pre-admission to discharge it felt like I have met more than 20 different staff and they are all knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. We also enjoyed most of my meals and is always looking forward to the next one (tea break inclusive). Took the most basic single room and it was pleasantly bright (full length window), new and comfortable. (My first stay I slept in 2-bed room by the door in the old building and I must say it felt depressive). Overall experience felt like a staycation.

On 3rd May 23, is my most nervewrecking visit to a hospital because I'll be doing few of my first time in my whole life; alone : 1st CT Scan, 1st Colonoscopy, 1st IV insertion (my biggest phobia), 1st sedation (fear I'll never wake up forever). BUT, all my fears were crushed when I met the amazing people at Mount Alvernia. Met nurse Ruby, precious as her name, who has done a super painless IV needle insertion into my vein, that could be strategically used for drawing blood, IV, etc. Dominic from their pastoral care visited me before all my procedures, who is a God send kind reminder to me that our loving God is still watching over me. The CT Scan is a breeze! The colonoscopy went smoothly under the expert hands of Dr Cheryl Lau, from Colorectal Clinic Associates, who is oh so assuring, friendly, kind and caring; most importantly, never scare me unnecessary! And, I did wakeup from the sedation naturally. Thanks be to GodπŸ™πŸ’• Dr Cheryl Lau has kindly helped me alias with Dr Caroline Khi on some fibroids in me, who even visited me and given me good advice. I am forever so stubborn to remove those fibroids and she isn't that pushy. She's quick to understand that I like to hear "minimally invasive" stuff. 🀣 Every single staff is really giving their best to the patients. Well, found a big Piles after the colonoscopy so I'll be most likely be doing a laser surgery to treat it. I know I'll be in good hands for the Piles removal procedure, to get rid of it so it'll not bleed from my butt that I hate to see! Shuttle bus uncle is nice n friendly. He waited for me when I waved to him afar! And he said thank you when we alight. Wishing all who read this good health! 2nd Updates: 26 May 23 Today is my 1st Piles Op and 1st time being pushed into an Operating Theatre! Jittery!πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’« Could i remember any names of the super friendly and kind staff or the nurses? Sorry, so sorry...really sorry... I can't coz I am too nervous. My bad! πŸ˜ͺ The staff at the waiting bay to the Operating Theatre are so friendly, careful and polite. But, I can't remember their names! My bad again!πŸ˜“ The uncle who pushed me to the waiting bay is so kind and even assured me everything is ok. And, I can't remember his name too! Sorry! πŸ˜” The lady doctor anaesthetists who has taken the initiative to introduce herself and checking on me patiently. Oh dear, I can't remember her name too! My bad! The Operating Theatre nurses who have eased my tension when we chatted very briefly on the latest K-drama 3rd season "Doctor Rom****c" Oh oh, I can't remember their names too! My bad again! πŸ˜– The whole Op is painless and my most trusted doc, Dr Cheryl Lau has done a magic on me! Thank you doc for removing not just 1 big nasty pile but few smaller ones too! My butt is finally liberalised! πŸŽ‰πŸ˜œ The nurses who have attended to me after the Op are really careful, attentive and kind. Can't remember their names too! 😣 I am finally discharged and here I am now, 30th of May, recuperating, recounting and typing the reviews, just few days after the op day. Counting all the good blessings I have received from the amazing people, our loving God and beautiful intercessions from our loving Mother Mary, all angels and saints! πŸ™ ❀️ Wishing all who read this good health and lots of happiness! ❀️

I've had a couple of experiences at MAH. First one back in Aug 2021 when my son had to go for a day surgery when he was just 2yo. The nurses were very accommodating and took special care of him. Then in Dec 2022, my 4yo daughter had a fall and we brought her to MAH A&E and she got scheduled immediately to have a stitching surgery at close to 2am. The next morning, the pastoral care team paid her a visit and gave her a card. It was close to Christmas and the OT and ward were filled with Christmas cheers. What prompted me to write this review is what happened today at their new St Anne maternity and child building. I dropped my credit card and I only knew about it when I received a prompt on my phone that my default card on my Apple Wallet was changed. I went to the info counter and realised that the staff on duty (it was 28 Aug 2023, 3.30pm) had called the bank up for me to report loss. She even took extra precaution to cut it up and rejected my offer to throw my card away. I also noticed that she had even written up an incident report. A lost card can go to many places, but I'm so glad that the stranger who picked it up, sent it to the angel at St Anne's reception counter. Thank you both!
