I came in Saturday for stomach pain, the nurses I got were so sweet and kind. They had trouble finding a vein on me (I have some tricky veins) but they were all really nice and would only try two or three times before getting someone else. I got a CT scan and really appreciated how they made sure to run the tests to figure it out! The ladies in charge of that were so nice and kind. My only issue is the facility itself. It's my first time using this building and I just wonder why there aren't more modern upgrades. From the walls to the restrooms - where is the money going??? This hospital deserves to have it's interior match the radiance of its nurses and Dr's and anyone else that works there! I know they're building a new marion health in gas city - not sure if it's Related but.... this facility needs a huge make over. It feels almost 3rd world and I'm not exaggerating (I've been to hospitals in Brazil) ... I felt like I was in Brazil again. Anyway! I hope this reaches the right eyes.

Thank you Dr. Wilson the surgeon!! I’ve been in so much pain before and after surgery and he really made sure I was comfortable this whole time. If there was ever a time where my pain got in-tolerable he was right there to let me try something different to make it to where I wasn’t miserable.. Also, he did not preform surgery until I was fully aware and felt safe about what he was going to be doing. That was amazing considering it was my first surgery and I was really scared. And thank you to Lizzy, my RN who took care of me the whole time! I forget the other nurses names, but all the nurses on the 5th floor are awesome. Specially you lizzy! You go above and beyond for your patients! Thank you!

The service here is amazing compared to anywhere we have been. My moms night nurse Brittany is absolutely wonderful. My momma was having one of the worst pains she’s felt and Brittany did everything she could to help her, she was kind and checked on her and reheated heating pads and replaced ice packs and anything that was asked of her she did it as soon as she could. As for the other nurses here, I have not had much interaction with but the little times I have had they were sweet and answered all our questions. The doctors say and talked with us and talked us through everything and explained and listened to our concerns 😊 would definitely recommend.

Was in town from Knoxville TN for business when I woke up at 5 A.M. with lodged kidney stone in my back. Drove myself to the ER at Marion General Hospital. They had me in a room in a bed within 5 min of arriving. Only thing that was delayed was getting pain meds because they had to wait for Dr sign off and he was busy. About 30 min into visit, I was on IV with meds. Nurse (Aubrey) was on top of everything and did an excellent job. She’s the main reason for me doing this review. Very friendly and couldn’t have asked for a better nurse in that situation.

They all took excellent care of me in the ER. I am so thankful for each and every one of them. I had excellent medical care. I am so grateful for MGH in our town. I was treated with compassion, respect, empathy integrity, and excellent medical care. You all make a difference in our lives.
