    I was treated today for a torn calf muscle in the surf at Yamba. Kristi, Kate and Dr Aye Aye were so caring and professional but most of all lovely people.     We came to see a docter. We went to the emergency room and within 5 minutes had the triage. After the triage we could see a doctor. Within 20 minutes we were out with medication. Best of all it was free because they have some agreement with the Netherlands. Thank you for the good care :)

    Massive gratitude to the caring doctors and nurses in Emergency and in the ward where I spent 3 nights. I had severely burnt my hand and 5 weeks later it is mending with no need for a skin graft. The professionalism and personal care was amazing from pulling across a curtain at night so as we could sleep a little better to the regular checks at each dressing with Brisbane Burns unit.Thank you all so much and I marvel at what a lucky population we are in Australia to have such a health care system. May more funding be directed to this vital inclusive service and its staff. Mary-Claire McLean

    Had the need (unfortunately) to go to Maclean Hosp. I was seen within 30mins by Triage nurse, put straight through to Emergency & treated by a lovely Dr (R) & nurses (L & H), cannot fault them. All other staff were great. Cannot forget the ultrasound/radiographer..so caring & considerate. My acute pain issue sorted within a few hrs. Wonderful people, I am so thankful to them.
