I took my husband to the ER on 12/23/23 with what turned out to be appendicitis. He had excellent care! The ER doctor and staff were so nice! His surgeon, Dr. Siddiqi, was so nice and got my husband into surgery quickly. He had to stay overnight and he was so pleased with how he was cared for. We don’t have anything negative to say about Bedford IU hospital. ❤️

I had a very severe situation in my home and my husband called for IU Health ambulance. It was not a “pretty sight” but they were awesome, professional and kind. They provided great care in the ambulance!!!!

Very confused about the reviews here. Travelling from FL and became very sick after an overnight stay in Bedford. Went to the ER with breathing issues. Signed in, went into room: did vitals; saw Dr.: did a breathing treatment: EKG test: given prescription: went to pharmacy (on site) and walked out to car in ------ SIXTY MINUTES. FIRST CLASS TREATMENT from start to finish. Go to my Doctors here in FL and sit in waiting office for 60 minutes.

I was an inpatient for 3 days for surgery. The nurses and CNAs provided excellent care. The housekeepers were great as well as dietary making sure I was satisfied with meals and when I had no appetite made offers for foods/snacks that I could eat. Thanks to Respiratory for the visits and education to ensure I didnt develop any further issues and case management for checking in to make sure my stay was best it could be.Special thanks to Dr.Murphy and the surgical team!
