The Alvin S. Mintzes Hatzalah of Baltimore, a non-profit volunteer organization, is committed to delivering swift, professional emergency care in Northwest Baltimore since 2006. Their team of 75+ volunteers, including medical responders and dispatchers, ensures rapid response, often within 3 minutes, crucial in life-threatening situations. With around 2,000 annual calls, Hatzalah's vital role in Baltimore is evident, addressing the growing need for emergency services.
Hatzalah's coverage area keeps expanding as they engage responders from different regions who volunteer their services, broadening our response reach. Their responders are all licensed or certified by the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems (MIEMSS).
They are a great organization, and helped us when we had an emergency. I couldn't believe that they do it for free, at all hours of the day and night!
