Overview

Operating as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, they are governed by a volunteer Board that convenes monthly. Hardin County General Hospital and Clinic are dedicated to providing inclusive care, extending a warm welcome to all patients without discrimination based on race, color, creed, national origin, ability to pay, or any other factors unrelated to an individual's service needs. As a charitable organization, they have the authority to confer tax-exempt status on any donations received. The facility holds the designation of a Critical Access Facility. In situations where a patient requires critical services beyond their capabilities, they facilitate transfers to hospitals equipped to handle higher-level care needs. The array of services they provide encompasses Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Anodyne Treatment.

    I fell and have multiple broken ribs and broken collar bone. Went to the ER and was treated very well. Computers were down and they efficiently handled me and my needs. Doctor Hastings is an excellent doctor and all the nurses down to the ladies who admitted me were fantastic. Thank you Hardin County General for taking great care of me!

    Couldn't ask for a better hospital! They were all very accommodable to my dad while he was there. The nurses are all very polite and have been trained very well. The staff at Hardin County General Hospital went above and beyond for us. I couldn't have asked for better patient care!
