Hamilton County EMS operates with three shifts, each led by a Shift Supervisor holding the rank of Assistant Chiefs. The Shift Supervisors are responsible for all day-to-day operations during their 24-hour shifts. They use emergency vehicles stocked to respond promptly to emergencies, delivering extended paramedic-level care, much like our district supervisors. Additionally, they play a key role in on-scene coordination and command of EMS resources.
