Despite being a modest community hospital, we are recognized for our exceptional birthing center and midwifery program.     Nothing but good experiences here for me or my wife. Knowledgeable and empathetic doctors and nurses, and consistently short wait times for both emergency visits and scheduling appointments over the past year and a half. After using several other hospitals across Vermont and New Hampshire, I’m blown away by the care we’ve received at Gifford.

    Certainly at my doctor’s practice , I have always had good care here. Recently, a rheumatologist & a radiologist at Gifford caught something happening with me that staff at DHMC (Dartmouth, Hitchcock) had somehow missed. I feel pretty well cared for, they’ve gone out of their way to help me. My doctor is Dr. Kenneth Borie, he’s a good guy. The nurses are very sweet. And the schedulers have always treated me well. It must be very discouraging for the medical staff there to constantly read such a negative stuff about themselves. It’s a little country hospital. It has good equipment, is visited regularly by doctors from Dartmouth, and I think that they are doing fine.

    Best medical system in Vermont. Very convenient and helpful staff, and they go above and beyond to squeeze you in for an appointment even though there maybe nothing available online. The negative reviews are probably from patients who were not healthy to begin with, and are blaming Gifford's physicians rather than take responsibility for their own health and lifestyle choices-pathetic!

    I had an issue with anesthesia at another hospital. Eileen at Gifford arranged pre-evaluation for surgery at Gifford the same week. Wonderful patient care!

    Gifford's birthing center is second to none. Every member of the staff - nurses, midwives, and even those serving the food - is knowledgeable, skilled, and kind. The hospital is a wonderful asset to the Randolph community.

    ⭐️Folks come from miles around to deliver their babies in the birthing center. It is absolutely top notch. ⭐️And no one could have cared more for my mother during her last month. ⭐️The townspeople stop by the cafeteria for lunch: the food is that good. ⭐️And if you're really bad off, they haul you to Dartmouth Hitchcock. ⭐️The fifth star is for ample parking.
