Founded in 1971 due to limited EMS coverage, the Forest Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps broadened its primary coverage to encompass Rego Park by 1997. Presently, they, like every other ambulance in New York City, are dispatched through the FDNY Mutual Aid Response System. Each dispatched crew includes at least one New York State Emergency Medical Technician. To date, they operate with two New York State Certified Ambulances and a First Response Truck. Your support in their endeavor to provide round-the-clock ambulance service to the community is greatly appreciated.
Very professional agency. They are very friendly and professional. They provided a positive experience in a time of hardship. Another bonus is that they are volunteers!
