Though it was a little crowded. I’m very satisfied with our public health system especially in terms of maternity care. They are very detailed, gentle, kind, and having great patience to take care of my wife and my newborn baby throughout their stay in the hospital. I would say their maternity care service is really top-notch and deserve a 5-star rating. They strongly encourage new mums to breastfeed and will do their best to help you achieve that. Kudos to the team in Ward 10. As a Malaysian, I’m grateful that the government has subsidised heavily on medical care for Malaysians. My advice for those who are not used with public healthcare system, be proactive to ask, be patient as they have higher caseloads as compared to private hospitals, be kind to all the staffs by expressing your appreciation to encourage them, and good to be fluent in Malay as well.

This hospital is very under resourced and over utilised. Most of the nurses and doctors are very professional with genuine respect to their duties; they do show care toward old folks. Government should pay attention to this hospital, put immediate emphasis to complete the expansion and put more resources to this hospital to take care the basic need of rakyat.

Negative things: Some staff especially nurses can be cranky. If you want them to treat you nicely don't complain too much and speak clearly. Parking was a living hell. Positive: Doctors are super professional and helpful. I ask so many questions and they explained so well for me to understand. I really want to find the doctor that treated me but I don't know his name. I want to thank him for such a wonderful dental surgery experience. Very professional and calm.

A lot people said government hospital was not so good, but for my experience was good!Might be we meet a good service, good doctor and good nurse! My mom this time round go in hospital is very seriously case, the doctor said that my mother’s surgery is also risky, we have no choice, listen to the doctor’s advice!Luckily now my mom everything is slowly recovery!I heard from my sis,the senior nurse or junior nurse working also very fantastic and very helpful! The pharmacist also very helpful, she help us to apply better medicine for my mom! My mother did brain surgery, the medical expenses surprised me. If it were in a private hospital, it would be more than a hundred times of this amount. Thank you all for helping us save my mother's life!

I share my experience.. it's happens almost 4 years ago...Actually I mom was seriously ill and Dr said that want to remove the half leg.. after 3 days of the operate my mom become unconscious.. I already broken to the max..and the nurses around are very rude and laughing at me due to my blur to take care my mom.. still unforgettable moment.. I hope the hospital management will give more trainings towards nurses and staffs about the budi bahasa budaya kita.... Re-edit 2022 : Recently admitted my dad at emergency ward here.. doctors and front liner are seriously respectable and polite.. even my father said doctors are caring.. good job guys..
